  1. What is e-@ntiqua ?  
    e-@ntiqua is a project born when the passion of a group of antique dealers met the professionalism of highly qualified webmasters in order to completely exploit the potentialities offered by internet. It is a virtual meeting place of professional antiquaries, impassioned connoisseur, collectors and restorers. Besides, it offers information and news about art and antiques galleries, exhibitions, fairs and markets; free services of experts assessment, opinion and evaluation regarding personal art objects; art articles sales announcements equipped with photos; legal advice concerning the export of cultural and artistic goods and objects and much more…   e-@ntiqua ensures the correctness of what is published and the security of the inserted data in the portal, but it takes no responsibility of what is published and/or declared by the users (whether they are “privates” or “professionals”) and it doesn't ask for any commission on the exchanging operations realized through the portal.
  2. Who can subscribe?
    There are two offered possibilities of subscription: Private Subscriber (free of charge) for all the antiques lovers and collectors who don't have any professional activities in the field, and Exhibitor Subscriber (with fee) for the professionals. Anyway, the portal is also visible to all the unregistered users, with some limitations.
  3. Here are the benefits for the subscribers of the portal:

     

    PRIVATE SUBSCRIBER
    - The possibility of making detailed search, in the Announcements and in the Showcases.
    - Inserting sales announcements equipped with photos (max. 5).
    - Asking for evaluation and opinions online (Expertise service).
    - A free one year subscription to “Il Massimiliano” (a quarterly magazine of information, culture and economy promoted by patrons of “ Le Tre Venezie” {the Three Venices} ).
    - Receiving the fortnightly Newsletter of e-@ntiqua .
    - The possibility of inserting “Desiderata” (a service of article requests directed to the antique dealers; with every object insertion of the requested category the price availability is communicated via e-mail.
    - Updated news about the coming antiquarian events.

    EXHIBITOR SUBSCRIBER  
    -
    Unlimited object insertion in the virtual showcase, with an online quick procedure.
    - Privileged publicity in specialized periodicals: Il Massimiliano, Antiquariato, L'Informatore Europeo (and others).
    - Prominent publicity spaces in the portal of e-@ntiqua (banners).
    -Particular prominence of the last art objects inserted in the showcase.
    - “Desiderata” Service: allows the users to request particular antiquarian objects that form in real time a “list” which only and exclusively the Exhibitor subscriber can see so that they can offer the requested articles and be kept updated with the market's new requests.
    - The possibility of making detailed search in the Announcements and in the Showcases.
    - Asking for evaluation and opinions online (Expertise service).
    - A free one year subscription to “Il Massimiliano” (a quarterly magazine of information, culture and economy promoted by patrons of “Le Tre Venezie” {the Three Venices} ).
    - Receiving the fortnightly Newsletter of e-@ntiqua .
    - Extraordinary offers of hardware, computer courses and website reation.
    - Updated news about the antiquarian coming events.

  5. How do I manage my subscription and how will my personal data be used?

     

    Private users: you just have to access to the dedicated section and fill in the fields with the requested data: The subscription is free and it requires a confirmation through a verification of the inserted post-office box: you will receive an e-mail with your data and the instructions to confirm your subscription.

     

    Exhibitor users: access to the dedicated section and fill in the requested fields. At this point your subscription is out standing, our staff will contact you to give you all the information about the services that you want to activate and their relative cost. The prescription doesn't imply any commitment of yours.

     

    The data that e-antiqua collects will be used exclusively for purposes related to the portal's activity (check the note of the collected personal data and privacy in the subscription application).

    Afterwards it will be possible to access to the page that has your data and make any modification, insertion and/or deletion of the objects/announcements.



  6. What is the difference between Exhibitor and private subscriber?

     

    The subscription as Private is completely free of charge and it's available for all the impassioned and collectors.

    The subscription as Exhibitor is reserved for selected professionals of the field (check the advantages).



  7. What is the Expertise service?  

    The Expertise service is a free service reserved for all the portal's subscribers ( Private and Exhibitor ) who want to get some objects evaluated by our experts. To make benefit of the service you have to access to the dedicated section and send a digital photo of the object or a letter with the photo and your personal data to our addresses.



  8. What is the “desiderata” service?  

    The “desiderata” service allows the subscribers to ask all of the Exhibitor subscribers for the availability of particular objects. The Exhibitor subscribers can access to the page of the “Desiderata” so that they can give response in case of effective availability, while the Private subscribers receive an e-mail from e-antiqua every time an object of the requested category is inserted.



  9. What is the use of the Newsletter?  

    A fortnightly newsletter will inform the subscribers about all the latest news of the portal and the world of antiques (exhibitions, offers, new conventions, etc.)



  10. How do the announcements get inserted?  

    To insert an announcement you must access to your personal page where you can put a photo, a text and a title by simple operations that can be done online (To protect the subscriber's personal data, it won't be inserted automatically in the announcement, therefore if you want to do so you will have to insert the data in the text field). A maximum of 5 announcements can be inserted, when you insert them all, you have to access to your personal page to delete them in order to add new ones. Anyway, after three months from inserting the single announcement, it will automatically expire and will be deleted from the database.



  11. How can one gets his own space on e-antiqua?
      Only the Exhibitor subscribers can have their own virtual showcases with an unlimited space on e-antiqua. Besides, all the updates can be made directly on line by a simple procedure. E-antiqua also provides on demand all the hardware instruments (computer, scanner, digital cameras, etc.), software (programs, etc.), and solutions for the connection (ADSL).

  12. What is “Il Massimiliano”?
    Il Massimiliano is a quarterly magazine of Art, Antiques and culture printed in Trieste (Director: Fabio lamacchia) and distributed in all the Triveneto. Its contributors are artists, antique dealers and patrons.



  13. What is the virtual showcase and how does it work?
    The virtual showcase is a space reserved for the Exhibitor subscribers, where they can insert objects with detailed description and photos in order to enlarge their visibility from the physical shop to a huge number of impassioned and professional on-line. Beginning from the showcase you can personalize your own “virtual stand” till making an independent web site (with the domain of: www.nameofthecompany.it ), with special prices as long as you are a subscriber of e-antiqua. The inserted objects in your own web site will be anyway exhibited in the showcase of e-antiqua's portal. All updating operations will be made online.

  14. How does the objects exchanging operations happen between the users?
    e-antiqua puts in touch the users for the objects exchanging while it guarantees the maximum secured privacy of the data, moreover it doesn't demand any fees or commission on the object's value.


  15. What is the “Fairs and Markets” service?
    It is a continuously updated service of information about cultural, artistic and antiquarian events to which all the users can access (besides the unregistered users). The organizers of such events who would like to make certain events more visible can ask for information by clicking here

  16. How and why to organize an advertising campaign in e-antiqua and the associated magazines?
    Using e-antiqua as an advertising instrument allows reach thousands of art and antiquity impassioned everyday with different types of advertising spaces beginning from the banners in the home page and ending with the reports in the internal search motor. Besides, through agreements with the major magazines of the sector, e-antiqua permits facilitations for editorial publications and advertising pages.

  17. Promotional activities of the e-antiqua project
    e-antiqua is promoted in internet through subscription in the search motors with a series of key words that allow it to be easily findable. But we are also “physically” present: the conventions with fairs, exhibitions, markets allow us to be near to the subscribers in the most important appointments, and our collaboration with the magazines of the sector gives us also more visibility to the non internet navigators.

  18. Who are the advertisers of e-antiqua?
    The advertisers of e-antiqua are particularly professionals of the sector, selected carefully by our staff. These professionals can display their articles in true virtual galleries. On the other hand, the private antique lovers and collectors can insert their objects in the announcements, such objects are always monitored by our staff that values its relevance and consistency with the portal's philosophy.
